Ivan Chew is a seasoned construction and engineering professional with over 30 years of experience across Southeast Asia, the GCC, and East Asia. A graduate of Universiti Sains Malaysia and the National University of Singapore, he has held leadership roles in major construction, engineering, and property development companies, specializing in large-scale project delivery and strategic growth.

Ivan began his career managing housing and industrial projects in Malaysia, including leadership positions with Kajima (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and IOI Group, where he oversaw developments such as Bandar Puchong Jaya and Bandar Puteri Puchong. In 2003, he became Project Director at Harta Intan Group, later taking on the role of Director and CEO at BPL Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd, expanding operations into the GCC and Southeast Asia.

As Managing Director of BPL Group, Ivan restructured operations during the Asian Financial Crisis, expanded into new markets, and led successful arbitration, securing HK$20 million. He revitalized a coal mining project in Indonesia and, as Country Manager for Bored Piling, increased sales from $3 million to $35 million annually. Ivan currently serves as Sole Director of BPL Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd, continuing to drive operational excellence and international growth.
